In Mauritania, Northwest Africa, many people live in poverty. Approximately 10% of the population live on $3.00 per day. Water, food, and medicine can be scarce necessities. According to the World Bank, 42.74% of the population contend with multidimensional poverty.

The Noor Foundation began providing clean water to Mauritanian families in need on January 24, 2023. True to our mission, assisting the underprivileged and underserved has been an honor. With your generous support, Noor Foundation can continue being a bright light in the darkness of thirst and survival. In addition to providing clean water, we have been blessed to provide children’s clothing and facilitate emergency medical care.
